Woodrock Animal Rescue received a heartwarming surprise recently as the Yale Home South Africa team paid a visit to the shelter bearing gifts that are set to make a significant difference in the daily operations. The donation of 150 Yale Easy-Pull Foot Openers & UNION keyed-alike padlocks promises to revolutionize the way staff and volunteers interact with the animals, providing a hands-free solution that enhances both safety and efficiency.
The ingenious Easy-Pull Foot Openers, offer a simple yet effective mechanism that can be easily fitted to cage doors. This innovative solution enables staff and volunteers to use their feet to hold open cage doors, freeing up their hands to handle and control the animals safely.
With the UNION key-alike padlocks, it is now easy to lock up certain areas of the shelter and not hassle with too many keys. Security is now made simple. This small but impactful change not only streamlines daily tasks but also minimizes the risk of accidents and injuries, ensuring a safer environment for both humans and animals alike.
We spent a fulfilling day touring the shelter and engaging with the animals, spreading joy and leaving behind a lasting impact.
