At Yale, our passion is to make our consumers lives easier. With you in mind, we have worked hard on updating the Yale Home App with a brand-new design interface, and an enhanced device activity tracking feature for a better user experience.
The update is planned to go live in the weeks starting April 27th for Android and iOS users respectively**. By increasing the minimum supported operating system versions for both types of devices the app will benefit from increased speed and system stability. The next release of the Yale Home app will officially support iOS 10, Android 6.0 and newer operating systems.
With this new update, all iOS devices already supported will be able to use the app as normal, though some users might need to update their operating system to access this latest version. As for Android users, those running versions 4.2 to 5.1.1 will be able to download and use the current app until December 31st this year.
